How SnipeDaily verifies deals (Buy New only)

We don’t post from memory, screenshots from yesterday, or a third-party “was” we can’t see. Here’s the bar every Lightning Deal has to clear.

1. Same-day Buy New

Before a deal goes live on snipedaily.com or in an @SnipeDaily teaser, we open the Amazon product page and confirm a real Buy New offer at the price we plan to quote — on that calendar day. Used, Marketplace-only, “unavailable,” or a price that already jumped fails the check.

Deals of the Day works the same way: the roundup is built from ASINs that passed a same-day Buy New pass. We don’t quietly reuse yesterday’s page without re-checking.

2. “Was” only when Amazon shows it

If we print a list or strikethrough “was,” it came from Amazon’s own list (or equivalent shown price) on that verify. If Amazon doesn’t show one, we omit it. We don’t invent a was from memory, a competitor site, or an old post.

3. What we skip

4. Affiliate links

When Associates links are live, Amazon URLs use our tag (snipedaily-20). Posts and X teasers carry clear #ad language. Commission never changes the Buy New rule — a paid link still has to pass the same verify.

5. Prices move

Amazon changes fast. A deal can fail between verify and when you click. We date our checks by the day we ship; if you’re reading later, re-check the retailer button before you buy.
